What happens at the Initial Consultation?
At your Initial Consultation, Dr. Sydney will take time to talk about the reason you are in need of chiropractic care. She will ask further questions as needed, so she has a well rounded picture of your needs to ensure you are receiving the best care for you.
Dr. Sydney will perform a neurological exam and orthopedic exam to determine the best route of care. If x-ray or advanced imaging is needed before continuing care, a referral will be made accordingly. Once the exam is completed and Dr. Sydney believes chiropractic care is a safe, beneficial option for you, you will receive your first adjustment (this could be on the same day or at a following time, determined on a case by case basis.)
NOTE: If booking for a Child Initial Consultation, you have the option to provide the History over the phone or video call. This will lessen the time in the office. Dr. Sydney understands schedules can be crazy sometimes! To coordinate this, call Bloom at 470-604-6817 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens at the Second Visit?
At your second visit, after your Initial Consultation, Dr. Sydney will provide you with your examination results and discuss how they pertain to your body’s needs. She will provide you with exercises and stretches to perform at home and a care plan, all tailored to your needs. Your brain and nervous system like patterns. Performing the exercises and stretches at home encourage proper movement patterns from the chiropractic adjustment to be long lasting.
Here at Bloom Chiropractic & Wellness, we want you to be focused on healing. To avoid any financial surprises, our prices are listed before you book your appointment online. Package pricing is discussed at your second visit during your Report of Findings and Care Plan for additional savings on care. We want your healing process to be accessible no matter the circumstance.
We do not take insurance; however, our rates are comparable to most insurance copayments. We will be happy to provide you an itemized receipt to provide to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. For additional information as to why we do not take insurance, please refer to our FAQ page.
In this phase people are typically experiencing symptoms of pain or discomfort, poor posture, or your may have not been adjusted in a while. Our goal at Bloom is to correct poor neurological patterns during the phase. This requires repetition of weekly adjustments or multiple times per week care. At reassessments, we will determine when your body is ready to begin the 2nd phase.
In this phase, you will no longer be symptomatic, and goals for your care are starting to be met. We determine progress at reassessments that occur every 12 visits or what your care plan determines. Typically, your care plan will be weekly or biweekly before entering the 3rd phase.
During this phase, you have decided you have to have optimal nervous system health. This phase is preventive care to ensure your body's progress does not go backwards. We will determine a Wellness Plan that will recommend for visits 1-2 times per month depending on your body's needs. Frequency will be determined at reassessments.
Office will be closed Aug. 1st-5th while Dr. Sydney is on vacation.
Normal hours will return the following week!
